May 1, 2017

The fourth episode of "The Los Angeles Breakfast Club: ON THE AIR" serves as a tribute, of sorts, to the founder of the Breakfast Club, Maurice De Mond (1875 - 1931). The episode features musical performances by the Don Snyder Orchestra and by MGM tenor of the 1930's, Earl Oxford. There is an interview with the President of the LABC charitable foundation, Bob De Wees, and a special appearance by "The King  of Hollywood", Clark Gable! "Birthday Girl" Revered Barbara Adams returns to lead us on our continuing Adventures in Friendship. Host Phil Leirness, along with some clips, recaps a busy month at the club, including several kicks on Route 66 AND a conga line! Lily Holleman previews what everyone can look forward to at the Shrine of Friendship in Mayl  All that, plus the dulcet tones of announcer Pete Handelman and ... "The Hokey Pokey"!
