In episode 7 of "The Los Angeles Breakfast Club: ON THE AIR", we celebrate friendship, comedy and America, with historic audio tributes to a California Governor and a U.S. Senator, an appearance by groundbreaking female journalist Mary Patterson Routt, as well as a vintage music performance by "Baby" Patty Kelly. We also celebrate the life and legacy of the legendary ham 'n egger Will Rogers. Featuring square dancing, a field trip to Glendale's Grand Central Air Terminal, and presentations on Bob Baker's marionettes and the community organization A Place Called Home, we review all of July's happenings at the Democracy of Ham 'N Eggs before club president Lily Holleman previews August (and early September) in her monthly report. All that, plus an interview with Darrell Hughes, and Reverend Barbara Adams walking us down the path that leads to our continuing "Adventures in Friendship". Join host Phil Leirness and announcer Marc Hershon for some great stories and a lot of laughs.
