Founded in 1925 by business leaders, entertainment figures and politicians, The Los Angeles Breakfast Club is the weekly gathering place for those seeking camaraderie and those who love the history and culture of Los Angeles. A tribute to the days of yesteryear when the LABC was a fixture on radio, “ON THE AIR” will be a monthly review and preview of happenings at “the Democracy of Ham ‘N Eggs” hosted by podcast veteran Phil Leirness (co-host and co-producer of YOUR Chillpak Hollywood Hour and a weekly USA cultural correspondent to the UK’s “Midweek Drive” program on Siren FM and Southside Broadcasting).

Episode 1 provides some of the history of the club, including audio of President Calvin Coolidge and California Governor CC Young. Current members regale with stories of the club's long history. Club President Lily Holleman previews coming events at "the Democracy of Ham 'N Eggs", and there are musical numbers and plenty of laughs.
