World War I hero Captain Forbes-Dennis welcomes you to episode 26 of "The Los Angeles Breakfast Club: ON THE AIR" with heartfelt words about the Breakfast Club, about Los Angeles, about California, and about the optimism of the American people. A short while later, his wife, the popular novelist, Phyllis Bottome echoes those sentiments and tells an hilarious story.

Breakfast Club Master of Ceremonies Richard Gilson and Club President Lily Leirness initiate two new members: Anita Brenner and Sabrina Parke.

Reverend Barbara Adams treats us to an Irish accent while taking us down the path that leads to our "continuing Adventures in Friendship."

Casey Schreiner introduces Todd Lerew, who talks about the lost museums of L.A.

Kevin Cartwright introduces Nancy Gneier, who talks about that crown jewel of Griffith Park, Travel Town.

One of L.A.'s "Impact Makers to Watch" for 2019, John Girodo, introduces Hadley Meares, who discusses unsolved murders in L.A. history, including that of Jeanne French.

All that, plus part 2 of host Phil Leirness' interview with longtime Breakfast Clubber Rex Link, and Lily's preview of all that is on tap for the LABC in April, including four Wednesday morning meetings, and 2 special members-only events.
